Why Main-Street?
Let me tell you a little story about how this all began. We’re bringing you a family recipe, passed down through the generations, and now it’s something we hold close, handed down to
us by our mother.
So, how does this tie into our company name? Well, our mum was born and raised in Jinja, Uganda—and guess where? You got it, Main Street! That’s where it all started, and it’s where we found the heart of this tradition we’re so proud to share with you.
Why do we exist?
Well, we’ve tried most popular tea bag and instant blend brands out there, but we always felt something was missing. Either there was too much of one thing, or not enough of another—whether it was the spices, the milk, or the sugar—it just didn’t hit the spot.
We get it, tea is personal. Some people love those blends, but for us? They never quite worked. So, we thought, why not bring our family's flavours to you?
Our bold blend, inspired by generations of love and tradition, is here to shake up the tea world!
How are we different?

Our tea doesn’t just warm you up—it punches through with a flavour that’s unlike anything else on the market.
By cutting out excessive sugar and milk, we’ve created something you can enjoy a few times a day. It’s a lighter, fresher drink that fits into your lifestyle without the extra calories.
And here’s the thing: we use whole spices that are ground, sieved, and ground again—so, yeah, you might notice a bit of sediment, but it’s those very particles that unlock deeper, richer flavours.
Some customers love the added health benefits they bring; others prefer to leave the last sip. Either way, we don’t mind—we care about what works best for you!
Sweetened vs Unsweetened tea?
The main difference? Most “unsweetened” instant teas cut out the sugar and replace it with artificial sweeteners!
We don’t buy into that.
Instead, we use real brown sugar—a healthier, more flavourful choice. And the best part? Our tea has one of the lowest sugar counts out there.
For us, it’s all about balance—real ingredients, true flavour, and just the right amount of sweetness.
Can I add to it?
Absolutely!
Feel free to add whatever you like—whether that’s a dash more milk, a spoon of sugar, or even a little less water.
Some have enjoyed it with less water, others prefer a bit more sugar, but most enjoy it just as it is.
It’s all about making it your perfect cup!
Shipping & Returns
To help keep shipping costs low we have introduced a "flat pack" delivery option. Through this delivery method you'll receive 3 flat boxes (which are easy to assemble!) and 30 sachets for almost half the current delivery fee!
However, for those who prefer to have it ready packed, whether you purchase 1 or 20 boxes, we’ve kept shipping fees flat.
Our products, generally, have over 6-month shelf life, so we encourage buying in bulk or teaming up with friends to keep costs low. We’re continually looking at ways to bring this down!
Due to the nature of the product, we’re unable to offer refunds, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us—we’ll do our best to resolve any issues!
